Renae Gasmier
Renae has over 20 years’ experience working in roles that reimagine how business and urban places can deliver impactful outcomes in sustainability. Renae has held senior leadership roles at purpose-led companies like JLL, Horizon Power, Synergy, RACV & Medibank leading influential programs such as Project Symphony, community battery rollouts, EV strategy and creating the WA State Government Schools Virtual Power Plant. Before joining EnergyAustralia, Renae was JLL’s Head of Sustainability Consulting, where she worked with Australia’s largest built environment energy users, in reducing emissions and leveraging solar, battery and electric vehicles. Renae joined EnergyAustralia in 2023, where she leads the Customer Assets team, by making it easier and more accessible for customers to play a role in the energy transition, through providing behind-the-meter solutions, like batteries and solar, orchestrated in EnergyAustralia’s virtual power plant.
